Accessibility Statement
Apiece Inc wants everyone to be able to use apieceinc.com — with a mouse, a keyboard, a screen reader or a phone.
Our commitment
We build and maintain this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Accessibility is part of how the site is built, not a feature switched on afterwards, and we review it every time the site changes.
What is in place
- Every page has a "Skip to content" link, a single main heading and named regions (header, navigation, main content, footer) so screen readers and keyboard users can move straight to what they need.
- Everything on the site can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and the element you are on shows a clear two-tone focus outline (teal with a dark inner ring) that stands out on both light and dark backgrounds.
- Every image has a text description; icon-only links and buttons carry spoken labels.
- Text keeps a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background.
- Videos start silently with their own on/off sound button, offer captions for the spoken parts (the CC button on each video turns them on), and each one has a written description in the page for people who cannot see it. The G+F Consulting preview is silent; its captions name what is on screen.
- Animations and movement are reduced automatically when your device's "reduce motion" setting is on.
- Forms label every field and mark the ones that are required.
- The site does not use third-party accessibility overlay widgets; accessibility is built into the pages themselves.
Known limitations
- The playable puzzle demonstrations on the home page are pointer-driven games; they can be skipped, and every service they illustrate is described in text on the same page.
- The sample video reels play with their sound off until you turn it on; captions are available through the CC button and were prepared from the spoken audio (for the silent G+F Consulting preview, from the text on screen) — if a line reads wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
- Partner logos link to partner websites, which Apiece Inc does not control.
